Random Far Facts

Hi, a warm welcome from all of us.

Together we are Far.

One person, with a lot of personalities.

We started painting years ago, when one of us found out our synesthesia.

"lets buy some paint and have some fun"

Inspiration comes from everywhere, it might be the blushful sunset, the mosaic of lights on in some high-rise building, the gentle glow on the hair on my arm in the sunshine, colourful Indian or African garments, or even the texture of my grandma's knitted quilt.

It can be anything, anywhere anytime.

So what is there to know about us?

Let's make a list with random things, so may be once you get to know the artist, you'll understand the art (don't worry if you don't, we don"t understand it either)

People that we admire: Stephen Fry, Dali, Van Gogh, Dame Judi Dench and Jacinda Adern.

Food we dislike: Beetroots, beetroots... oh and did we mention beetroots?

Favorite movies: "Poor things", "The Perfume" and " Dead Poet society".

Muppets we like most: Super Grofer and Cookie Monster

Muppet we like least: Donald Trump

Rules to live by:

Best things in life: Love, music, skinbaths, morning farts, breakfast in the evening and all animals.

Worst things in life:

Dick-fights, lies, smelly and loud people, tooth ache, arrogance and any form of violence.

Pronouns don"t define me, so you can call me however you like. We simply are, and the rest is made up.

And then our latest absolute passion is, re-purposing preloved objects. We buy or inherit the most beautiful objects with old and much better quality, and we throw them out, the objects and their stories, only to buy new, glued together pieces that resemble wood. Such a shame, stories go lost and the craftsman ship of before goes to waste. Giving a new life to old things, is giving life itself a new breath.

We sell online, and you can come and see for yourself in Normandie, France, where a friend has offered to use some of his space, as a show room. Contact if you would like to see the objects in person, so he can make sure he will be there.
